Even a dreamer

There are now only 23 days until The Bone Season is published. Here's your final milestone teaser. The real countdown begins . . .

I'd just like to say thank you so, so much to all of you for sticking with me for this long. Some of you have been following this blog for over a year, since my book deal was announced in May 2012. I can't tell you how lucky I feel to have this deal, but most of all I feel lucky that so many of you have supported me along the way. Thank you, thank you, thank you.

  2. No, Samantha, thank you. Thank you for writing The Bone Season and getting published. Thank you for writing this blog, documenting your journey and maybe most importantly of all giving out important tips along the way to aide those writers who have yet to be published.

I think you show what young writers can be, that they can take their huge imaginations and put pen to paper and get published. That it doesn't matter if they're 20 and in college, or if they've never published a book before, it only matters how talented they are as writers.

The first time I talked to you through this blog I told you how much you had inspired me, and while that's still true, I know you've inspired many other people as well. The tagline for the final teaser says that "Even a dreamer can start a revolution," and I can't help but think that that applies to more than just Paige Mahoney. I hope it applies to you as well and that you're not the last young college student to shake up the literary world.

    Don't you ever stop.

  6. Your book sounds so intriguing and am so glad I saw the write-up on CNN. Will be ordering it next. I think you are an inspiration to smart girls who read and write and perhaps are a teensy bit disorganized (just read your graduation post). Do you think your book is appropriate for a 14 yr. old? Was thinking of getting it for niece who is an avid reader. This book sounds definitely one she would adore.---Geni
